Support
Support is particularly hard to come by in rural areas due to isolated geography, rural infrastructure and tight knit communities that threaten anonymity, compiled with survivor’s guilt or shame making them feel as though they do not deserve support in the first place. Technology is beginning to bridge that gap, with so many online resources, support via video or phone link is a viable solution for isolated areas. From this page you may find links to legal, mental and police support services, as well as a variety of information for survivors, witnesses or loved ones.
